Shaddae Findley of the lady panthers Tennis team has been named Student-Athlete of the Month for February Shaddae is a Junior from Montego Bay, Jamaica majoring in Finance, holding a 3.95 GPA
 
  1. What is your game day ritual?  On match day I normally read daily bread and pray. I also like to listen to gospel and think positive and vision what I have to do during my match
  2. Who is your favorite athlete and why?  Roger Federer because he possesses all the qualities a good athlete should have.  He is a great player on the court he is calm, has great sportsmanship but with all of that he is also humble.  Being a good tennis player on the court is one thing but I definitely believe if u have the means you should give back to the community and help those who aren’t privileged and Roger Federer has definitely done that. 
 
  1. What made you choose Prairie View?  I chose Prairie View because of my late coach John Cochran.  Being from Jamaica I had my doubts about coming to America but Coach Cochran did everything in his power to reassure me and my parents that everything would be okay.  He even had me talk to some Jamaicans on campus over the phone.  I can definitely say coach Cochran had a huge role to play in me choosing to come to Prairie View
