Panthers To Face No. 7 Baylor On Tuesday

Returns To Texas For First Time Since Nov. 15

There will be little time to rest for the Prairie View A&M men's basketball team as a trip to No. 7 Baylor awaits them on Tuesday night in Waco, Texas.

The Panthers have dropped five straight since winning their first two games at home in mid-November. Since those two contests, Prairie View A&M has logged plenty of frequent flier miles with trips to the states of Florida, Nevada, Utah and Illinois. The Panthers have shown plenty of fight throughout the setbacks though as the past two losses to Longwood and Wofford has occurred in the last two minutes of the contest.

Junior guard Jourdan DeMuynck leads PV with 11.6 points per game and averages 6.3 rebounds. He earned All-Tournament honors in the Chicago Invitational Challenge this past weekend and has led PV in scoring during the past three games. On the boards, sophomore Jules Montgomery tops PV in rebounding with 7.3 per game and had a season-high 16 rebounds versus Longwood.

Tuesday's contest will tip-off at 7 p.m. and can be viewed live on FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Houston. ESPN3.com will also broadcast the game via the Internet.
