Louisiana Tech scored a pair of goals in each half as they blanked Prairie View A&M 4-0 on Friday night at the Lady Panther soccer field.
After 20 minutes of scoreless play, Louisiana Tech scored first in the 22nd minute as Scotti Culton scored off a header. Two minutes later, the scored moved to 2-0 in favor of Tech via a penalty kick from Paige Dunn.
Louisiana Tech's Taylor Dennis accounted for both goals in the second half as she scored off an assist from Briana Caldwell in the 47th minute and again in the 69th minute via an assist from Natalie Kelly. Prairie View's best chance to score occurred in the 81st minute as freshman Gabriella Ramos had a clear angle to the goal. However, Ramo's shot attempt shot was blocked which turned out to be the lone shot attempt of the half for the Lady Panthers.
Prairie View returns to action on Sunday as they'll face Sam Houston State at 1 p.m. in Prairie View.
