LAFAYETTE, La. – University of Louisiana-Lafayette broke open a tight game with two second-half goals en route to a 3-0 win over Prairie View A&M on Sunday.
ULL moved ahead 1-0 in the first half as Dalania McGhee took advantage of a ball which rebounded off the goalie after an early PV save. The scoring ceased until late in the second half when ULL connected on a shot from about 35 yards out for a 2-0 advantage. ULL tacked on its third goal of the evening 15 minutes later following a goal by Maci Andrus.
Prairie View travels to Lake Charles, La. on Friday to face McNeese State beginning at 7 p.m.
