GAME NOTES
The Prairie View A&M Panthers return to the court tonight for a non-conference basketball affair with Texas A&M tonight in College Station, Texas. The contest will be televised live by Fox College Sports Southwest (Regional Network) at 7 p.m.
Tonight's game marks the 11th meeting in the series between both teams and the first since 2010. The Panthers are 2-1 on the season and are coming off two straight home wins this past week while Texas A&M is 2-0 with guard Elston Turner leading the way with 20.5 points per game.
Senior guard Jourdan DeMuynck leads PV in scoring with 14 points per game while junior newcomer Josh Eleby follows with 13.3 points. DeMuynck is also the team's top rebounder with 7.5 boards per outing while junior Jules Montgomery counters with 5.7.
The Panthers will remain on the road for nearly two weeks with games played in Fort Worth (Sunday), Birmingham, Ala. (Tuesday) and South Padre Island (Friday-Saturday). The team returns home on Nov. 28 for a battle with the University of Houston at 7 p.m.
