The Prairie View A&M men's basketball team hits the hardwood on Saturday with a critical matchup versus Jackson State beginning at 5 p.m. in the Baby Dome. Saturday's game is also designated as high school day as area high school students will be admitted for a special price of $5.

The Panthers are looking to remain hot as they've won five of the past seven since Jan. 14.  As a result, they've moved into third place in the SWAC standings and are in prime position to move even higher with three of their next five games in the Baby Dome.  Prairie View A&M is coming off an impressive home win over Texas Southern last weekend which was played in front of a capacity crowd.  The Panthers also enter Saturday's game looking to log their first season sweep over JSU since 2008 and second sweep since 1998.

Since his breakout game in Jackson, Miss on Jan. 14, sophomore guard Louis Munks has continued his dominance on the court as he's coming off his eighth straight game with double digit points.  During that span, the Arlington, Texas native is averaging 17.8 points and has increased his seasonal scoring average to 9.8 points (14.6 in SWAC).

All of Prairie View A&M's SWAC contests will be broadcasted live on KPVU 91.3 FM with Leonard Moon calling the action.  The station can be heard via the airwaves or Internet at www.pvamu.edu/kpvu.  Smartphone and tablet users can also hear the game live by downloading the Tune-In application for their respective devices and selecting KPVU 91.3 FM

The games will also be video streamed live through the PVPanthers.com website.
