LAFAYETTE,La. - Prairie View A&M had a hard time keeping up with Louisiana-Lafayette on a rainy Friday night in a 4-0 loss on the road. The Lady Panthers surrendered two goals in the first period and two in the second.

Angie Guillory led the attack for the Lady Panthers in the first period. She had two shots for Prairie View, both of which went high over the crossbar.
Yosselyn Aguilar had two shots in the second half with one shot on goal. Prairie View A&M was out-shot by Louisiana-Lafayette 24-4 in the game.
The Lady Panthers fell victim to aggression and crisp passing by Louisiana-Lafayette in the first period. Melissa Minton took a pass from Brooke Gros and snuck it past Lady Panthers' keeper

Ragin Cajuns forward Elizabeth Manuel gave the Prairie View back line a work for its money. She took four shots in the first half, with the fourth leading to an indirect goal for ULL in the 43rd minute. Garza deflected Manuel's initial shot, but the rebound went to Claire Ruehle, who scored the goal. Louisiana-Lafayette went into the second half with a 2-0 lead.
The Lady Panthers dropped to 0-2 on the season and will try to bounce back against Texas State at 7 p.m. Tuesday in San Marcos.
