The Prairie View A&M Panther men's basketball team will close out their nine-game road swing with a contest at the University of Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon in Madison, Wis. at 1 p.m.  Saturday's game will be televised live on ESPNU. 

This marks the final non-conference match-up for the Panthers in 2013 as they'll begin SWAC play on Jan. 4 against defending tourney champion Southern in a rematch of the 2013 SWAC Tournament Championship Game.

Since 1980, the SWAC is 2-42 against teams from the Big Ten. The last time the SWAC recorded a win over the Big Ten occurred on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003 in El Paso, Texas as Mississippi Valley State defeated Northwestern 49-47.

This marks the ninth consecutive road contest for the Panthers as they've been on the road since Nov. 19.

Junior guard Montrael Scott is PVAMU's leading scorer with 14.2 points per game and second-leading rebounder with 4.4 boards per outing. The junior is PVAMU's leading three-point shooter with a 46 percent clip.
