GRAMBLING, La. -The Prairie View A&M Panthers hit the road for a brief two-game trip which begins on Saturday evening versus Grambling State at 5 p.m.  The contest will be broadcast live on KPVU 91.3 FM following the women's contest.

The Panthers are coming off a rough loss to SWAC rival TSU last weekend in Houston.  On paper, the team has a strong change to reverse its fortunes as Saturday's opponent in Grambling is 0-20 on the season.  Against the Tigers, head coach Byron Rimm II is  10-3 lifetime versus Grambling State and has won 10 of the past 11 games versus GSU since 2008. The Panthers are looking to sweep the Tigers for the second straight year.

Saturday's game marks the first time since 2011 PV will play in Grambling, La. as the teams played in Dallas last season for GSU's home game.

Senior shooting guard Jourdan DeMuynck, who didn't play last week at TSU, leads the Panthers with 14.4 points per game and is pulling down a team-high 6.3 rebounds per outing. Senior guard Carl Blair follows with 10.3 points and a team-high 5.2 assists.

The road trip ends on Monday night as the team travels to Jackson State for a 7:30 p.m. showdown.
