The Prairie View A&M softball teams looks to close out its season on a positve note as they'll face Texas Southern in a three-game series which begins on Friday afternoon and concludes on Saturday at Memorial Park in Houston.  Friday's single game begins at 3 p.m. while Saturday's doubleheader kicks off at noon.

The Lady Panthers have hit a rough patch as they're on a seven-game slide which dates back to April 9.  With SWAC Tournament play looming on May 8 in Decatur, Ala., this weekend's series would be a perfect time for the team to bounce back as TSU is a formidable foe as they've clinched the divisional crown.  TSU has won eight straight over PV dating back to 2011 and has dominated the series against PV recently.  PV has not won a conference series over TSU since 2008.
