Prairie View A&M will join Baylor, Michigan State and Tulsa as the winner of Friday's match will face the winner of Michigan State/Tulsa on May 11 at 6 p.m. This marks the fifth meeting in the all-time series that PV will face Baylor with the last match taking place in 2012. The Panthers, who last made an NCAA appearance in 2010 at Texas A&M, swept through postseason play two weeks ago and are peaking at the right time as they played Rice to the wire recently.
“We're familiar with Baylor as we played them last year in Waco,” said head coach John Cochran, Jr. “Now that we know our opponent and destination, I expect us to turn it up a level in practice and prepare to win a championship.”
