BOX SCORE The Lady Panthers suffered a 3-0 loss at Sam Houston State on Sunday night in Huntsville on the soccer field.

Prairie View A&M dropped to 0-5 on the season following the defeat. The Bearkats outshot Prairie View 26-to-3, scoring two of its goals in the first period. Junior goal keeper Sierra Golding started the game for the Lady Panthers, she surrendered her only goal in the 23rd minute of play on an unassisted shot from Sam Houston's Mariah Titus from the top of the box.

Golding dropped to 0-2, despite playing for 35 minutes of the match. She was replaced in the 35th minute by sophomore Dominique Dillon, who was scored on in the first and second periods.

Prairie View A&M continues its road trip and will attempt to correct the ship in Louisiana as it prepares to face Louisiana-Lafayette at 7 p.m. on Friday and then Northwestern State at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
