JACKSON, Miss. - One week after an emotional triple overtime loss to TSU, Prairie View A&M hits the court looking for redemption as they prepare to face Jackson State this evening at 5:00 p.m. in Jackson, Miss.  The contest will be broadcast live on KPVU immediately following the women's contest.

Like their women's counterparts, the Panthers have struggled when playing in Jackson as JSU holds a 20-3 mark in the city since 1990.  Head coach Byron Rimm II has two of the team's three wins during that span with the last occurring in 2012 as guard Louis Munks exploded for 25 points.  Rimm is 6-11 lifetime versus JSU as he last defeated the Tigers in the semifinal round of the 2013 SWAC Tournament.

Junior guard Montrael Scott leads the way with 14.4 points per game 4.1 rebounds. Junior guard John Brisco has come on lately with a pair of 20-point games to up his average to 11.1 points per game.
