Lady Panthers travel to Lubbock for NCAA Tournament

The Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers will continue their historic season with a trip to Lubbock for the first round of the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament after claiming the Southwestern Athletic Conference's automatic bid into the event. The Panthers (11-8-1) will face No. 16 Texas Tech at the John Walker Soccer Complex at 5 p.m. Friday.

The Red Raiders (14-3-2) finished fourth in the Big 12, and were eliminated on penalty kicks in the first round of the Big 12 Conference tournament by Texas, who also received a bid into the NCAA Tournament. Texas Tech is seeded third in the NCAA tournament.
