BOX SCORE SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers were unable to add to their recent winning streak as they fell 2-0 Friday at Texas State.
The foot of Texas State's Rachel Grout provided all the scoring in the match, as the substitute put home two goals late in the first half.
Texas State improved its record to 5-2-1 with the victory. PVAMU's record dropped to 1-6.

Bianca Garza and the Prairie View A&M defense faced heavy attack throughout the match. The Bobcats outshot the Lady Panthers 36-6; 18 Texas State shots found their mark, with Garza making a season-high 16 saves.
The contest was Prairie View A&M's final non-conference tilt of the season. They open Southwestern Athletic Conference play Friday when they host Alabama State at 7 p.m. at Lady Panthers Field.
