Prairie View A&M University fell to Stephen F. Austin, 9-0, Wednesday afternoon at the Lady Panther Softball Field.

SFA scored twice to open the first inning and PVAMU failed to respond as they stranded a runner on third.  An error in the second inning upped the deficit to 3-0 and PVAMU once again failed to capitalize in thie third as they loaded the bases with no outs but left empty handed.  The Ladyjacks broke the game open with six runs in the fourth and fifth frames,which forced the run-rule and concluded the game.

PVAMU returns to SWAC play this weekend as they'll host Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 3 p.m. Friday and noon on Saturday in Prairie View.
