Â
Trailing 2-0 after the match's first 45 minutes, the Lady Panthers came out attacking after the restart; luck, however, was on the Bearkats side as a well-placed crossing pass from PVAMU's
Braelah McGinnis ended up hitting the side of the post.
Â
Katie Ferrara gave the Bearkats breathing room in the 66th minute with a strike from more than 40 yards out that crossed just under the PVAMU crossbar.
Â
The Lady Panthers fell to 1-2 against Southland Conference teams this season.
Â
Prairie View A&M plays its final non-conference match of the season Sunday, Sept. 20, when they host New Mexico State at Lady Panthers Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
