BOX SCORE SAN MARCOS – The Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers saw their two-match unbeaten streak snapped Sunday as they fell to the Texas State Bobcats 2-0.
 
After more than hour of scoreless play, the Bobcats finally broke the deadlock when Kassi Hormuth deposited a chip shot over PVAMU goalkeeper Dominique Dillon following a rebound in the 73rd minute.
 
Texas State's Taylor Allen gave the home side an insurance goal in the 87th minute.
 
Dillon made seven saves for the Lady Panthers (1-2-1), who are off to their best start in more than a decade.
 
The Lady Panthers open their home schedule Friday when they host St. Thomas–Houston. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
