Tuesday evening will mark the home opener for the Prairie View A&M University men's basketball team as they face Jarvis Christian for a 6 p.m. tip at the William J. Nicks Babydome.
Â
The Bulldogs are coming to Prairie View holding a 2-0 record on the season, riding off a narrow 89-82 win over Arlington Baptist College. PVAMU on the other hand will be looking to bounce back from a 10-point  (69-59) loss to Texas San Antonio on Saturday.
Â

Byron Smith. "They are a fast past up temple team. They are a run and gun basketball team with a lot of good athletes and we will have our work cut out for us. We are going to have to be really good at half-court defense more importantly transition defense." Â
Â
"We are expecting the ball to go up a lot tomorrow night and we are expecting to get a lot of rebounds. We just need to come out and play the way we need to play. We want to put on a good show for the home fans."
