THE SERIESEven though Mississippi Valley State leads the series with a 55-21 mark since 1980, the Panthers have regained the upper hand recently with wins in 10 of the past 20 contests against the Delta Devils. Last year's season sweep over MVSU marked only the second time since 2010 that the Panthers recorded a season sweep over the Delta Devils. MVSU won the first game between both teams this season in Prairie View.
