The Prairie View A&M University basketball teams welcome Alabama State into the William J. Nicks Babydome for a Monday night doubleheader.
The Lady Panthers (8-12 overall, 3-5 SWAC) will face the defending SWAC co-leader Alabama St. (7-11, 6-2) at 5 p.m. The national television lights of ESPNU will shine in the Babydome for the 8 p.m. men's game between the Panthers (7-15, 4-4) and Hornets (5-15, 3-5).
The radio broadcast of both games will air on KPVU 91.3 FM. The women's game will be video streamed live on pvpanthers.com. In addition to the live telecast of the men's game on ESPNU, the contest will also be video streamed live on ESPN3.com.
Both PVAMU teams have played well at home this season. First-year head coach
Ravon Justice has lead her Lady Panthers to a 7-1 mark at home, including three straight wins. Prairie View A&M rolled past Alabama A&M 71-47 win Saturday behind 19 points from
Alexus Parker, the SWAC's third-leading scorer at 15.7 points per game.
The Lady Panthers will face an Alabama State coming off a 52-48 loss at Texas Southern in a matchup of first-place teams.

Byron Smith, the Panthers have also posted three straight home wins and a 5-2 mark in the Babydome this season. PVAMU defeated Alabama A&M 70-65 Saturday night behind 14 points from
Zachary Hamilton, who is sixth in the league in scoring (14.8).
Alabama State is coming off a 70-68 loss at Texas Southern Saturday night.
