PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – In a hard fought match, the Prairie View A&M University volleyball team fell to Arkansas Pine Bluff 3-1 at the William J. Nicks Baby Dome, Monday night.
The Lady Panthers lost by the scores of 24-26, 22-25, 25-22, and 22-25.
Both teams were led in kills by junior
Latrice Brown, who had 14, along with six digs two block assists. Freshman
Hailee Morton was the only other player with double digits knocking down 10 kills, and six digs.
Taylor Goudeau led the defense for the Lady Panthers with 15 digs. Three other players had double digits for PVAMU.
Christen Augustine had 14,
Erica Jimenez had 12, while
Mykaeli Franklin had 11. Jimenez also handed out 21 assists, while Franklin posted 19.
The team will travel to Huntsville, Texas to Face Sam Houston State on Oct. 14 for a 2 p.m. match.
