Women's Basketball Faces #18 Texas A&M Tuesday

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Prairie View A&M University women's basketball team will return to action on Tuesday when they face #18 Texas A&M at Reed Arena at 7 p.m.
 
The PVAMU Sports Network will have a live radio broadcast of the game online at pvpanthers.com/sportsnetwork. The game will be televised on SEC Network+ channel and video streamed on ESPN3.com.
 
This will be 23rd meeting between the two schools with the Aggies leading the series 19-2.  In their most recent matchup last season on Dec 28, 2016, Texas A&M pulled away to defeat the Lady Panthers 90-62.
 
PVAMU enters Tuesday's game with a 2-3 record after falling to Texas Rio Grande Valley Sunday 78-62.  Jordyn Penniman led the Lady Panthers in scoring with 17 points in the loss.  Shala Dobbins, the SWAC's leading scorer posted 16 points and leads the league with a 22.2 ppg average.
 
Texas A&M won their last contest 90-56 over Texas Tech Sunday and will be entering the contest with a 4-1 overall record.  They are led in scoring by freshman guard Chennedy Carter, who is averaging 20.6 ppg.
