After another key Southwestern Athletic Conference match up, Prairie View A&M Volleyball extended its winning streak to four matches as they took a 3-1 contest at Texas Southern Thursday night.

PVAMU won by the scores of 26-24, 25-22, 14-25 and 26-24.

Larissa Martinez paced the Lady Panthers' offense with 17 kills, while
Taylor Goudeau added 16 and
Victoria Pearson knocked down 11 kills, respectively.Â
Erica Jimenez posted 34 assists, while
Christen Augustine tallied a team-high 28 digs.

Texas Southern built an slight lead in the opening set, only to see the Lady Panthers come back and tie it at 20. It was PVAMU who took advantage of TSU miscues in rallying to win the set.

Prairie View A&M again battled back in set two after an early TSU lead in the second set. The Lady Panthers managed to tie the set at 22 and pulled away with a 2-0 advantage over TSU.

After TSU won the third set, set four saw both teams go back-and-forth tying the set 14 times. The Lady Panthers kept their poise to take the set and the match.

The Lady Panthers will end the regular season at Arkansas Pine Bluff Monday at 6:30 p.m.
