PINE BLUFF, Ark. – In their last regular season game, the Prairie View A&M University volleyball team fell to Arkansas Pine Bluff 3-1 on Monday at the H.O. Clemmons Arena.
After PVAMU won the first set, 25-17, UAPB battled back to tie the match with a 25-14 win in the second set. The Lady Golden Lions continued their momentum with a 28-26 win in the third set, then outlasted PVAMU for a 25-23 victory in the fourth set to capture the match.
Head coach Tacho Tyler's team will now turn its attention to the Southwestern Athletic Conference Tournament Nov. 17-19 in Jackson, Miss. Final seeds are still TBD. The complete SWAC Tournament pairings and schedule will be announced by the league office Sunday evening.
