LUBBOCK, Texas – Looking for their first road win of the season, the Prairie View A&M women's basketball team returns to action when they travel face Texas Tech at 5:30 p.m. at the United Supermarkets Arena.

This will be the sixth meeting between PVAMU and Texas Tech, with the Lady Raiders winning last year's meeting 85-43. Texas Tech enters Wednesday's contest 3-5 on the season, with their most recent 90-56 loss to New Mexico.

The Lady Panthers are 2-6 on the season and will be looking for their first road win of the season, after Clemson held off PVAMU in a late rally to win 64-58 last Friday in Clemson. PVAMU had two players in double-digits with
Shala Dobbins leading the team with 19 points, while
Kendra Hicks posted a season high of 16 points and five rebounds.

Prairie View A&M's offense is led by Dobbins, who is averaging 21.5 points per contest, while senior
Alexis Robinson and sophomore
Dominique Newman are both leading PVAMU averaging 6.1 rpg a piece.

Tech is led in scoring by both Brielle Blaire and Jada Terry, which are averaging 11.1 points per game, while Dayo Olabode is leading the Lady Raiders in rebounds averaging 7.2 per contest.
