CLEMSON, S.C. – The Prairie View A&M women's basketball team will travel to Clemson, South Carolina for its sixth straight road game of the young season.  The Lady Panthers will face Clemson in a 6 p.m. CT tip off on Friday at the Littlejohn Coliseum.
 
The game will be video streamed on ESPN3.com and can be accessed on the pvpanthers.com website, along with live stats and listening capabilities.
 
Prairie View A&M is looking to rebound from Saturday's 84-57 loss at Texas St. The Lady Panthers look to be refreshed after a five-day period between games.
 
"The team has had a great three days of preparation," said PVAMU head women's basketball coach 
Ravon Justice.  "We are excited to play again.  Any opportunity that we have to play and positively represent our University is one that we want to maximize.  This is a great opportunity for us to take full advantage of.  We have prepared to win and are looking to start the series vs. Clemson 1-0."
 
PVAMU is led by three guards who are averaging double figures in scoring.  Junior 
Shala Dobbins is averaging 21.9 points, junior 
Jordyn Penniman is averaging 14.3 ppg., and sophomore 
Dominique Newman is averaging 10.9 points per game.  Senior 
Alexis Robinson is leading the team on the boards averaging 6.4 rpg., while also averaging 7.3 ppg.
 
This will be the first time the teams will be meeting on the hardwood. 
 
Clemson will enter Friday's contest with a 7-2 record, and are on a three game winning streak with the last contest win against La. Tech in Ruston, La., on Monday.
 
The Tigers are led in scoring by junior guard Danielle Edwards, who is averaging 11.9 points and 3.4 rebounds.  She is followed in scoring by sophomore Kobi Thornton who is averaging 8.6 points and leading the team averaging 7.6 rebounds per game.
