Bowling In the Middle of the Pack After Day One of the Stormin Lady Jack Classic

HOUSTON, Texas. –   After the first day of the Stormin Ladyjack Classic hosted by Stephen F. Austin the Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers finished the day in the middle of the field of 23.
 
Although they have a 1-4 record on the day, the Lady Panthers still tallied a total pin fall of 4,684 placing them in 13th place.  In the first match of the morning they fell to  #3 ranked McKendree 1066-1003 and then picking up a 1017 – 944 win over #24 Youngstown State. 
 
During the afternoon matches #14 Wisconsin-Whitewater edged over the Lady Panthers by the pin fall of 1034-916 and then PVAMU fell to  #9 Maryland Eastern Shore 1018-855.  In the final match of the day the Lady Panthers fell to  #12 Monmouth by the pin fall of 942-883.
 
Day two of the competition gets underway at 9:25 a.m. Saturday morning with six traditional team matches.  Today and Saturday's total pinfall will be added together to determine the seeding for Sunday's bracket play.
