Abilene, Texas- The Prairie View A&M University softball team fell to Northern Colorado by a score of 9-1 in their first game in the Abilene Christian Tournament . In their second game of the day, PVAMU was defeated 11-2 by Abilene Christian.

Kylar Ward-Flowers were the only lady panthers who recorded base hits in the first contest. Ward-Flowers homered to left field, in the top of the lineup of the fifth inning to give the Lady Panthers its score.
Game 2 PVAMU vs. Abilene Christian, 11-2
In the second contest of the day, Ward-Flowers and left fielder
Shelby Williams were the sole Panthers to post hits. Ward-Flowers finished the game with one run batted in.
Keona Hunter opened the bottom of the first inning on a walk. S. Williams singled to pitcher; Hunter advanced to second. D. Williams out at first p to 2b, SAC, bunt; S. Williams advanced to second; Hunter advanced to third. Ward-Flowers grounded out to ss, RBI; S. Williams advanced to third, while Hunter scored giving the Lady Panthers its first score
Briana Knowles reached on a throwing error by p, advanced to second to top off the batting order for the Lady Panthers in the bottom of the third. Hunter popped up to ss. B. Knowles stole third. S. Williams flied out to lf, SF, RBI; B. Knowles scored, unearned to put PVAMU's second run on the board.
The Lady Panthers will return to the diamond on February 25th to take on Northern Colorado at 1pm on the campus of Abilene Christian University.
