BOX SCORE 1 | BOX SCORE 2 Abilene, Texas - The Prairie View A&M softball team was defeated Saturday in two games, losing 3-0 against Northern Colorado in game number one. The Lady Panthers fell 11-0 to Abilene Christian at Poly Wells Field on the campus of Abilene Christian.
 
Game 1  PVAMU vs Northern Colorado 3-0
 
Only two Panthers were able to collect base hits, as left fielder Shelby Williams had a pair of hits (2-2). First baseman Tiara Thomas and right fielder Briana Knowles both finished the contest with one hit (1-2). Ashley Higgins pitched 7 innings, striking out four batters.
 
 
Game 2 PVAMU vs. Abilene Christian 11-0
 
In the second contest of the day, no Panthers were able to record hits. Pitchers Taylor Drury and Vanessa Delgadillo combined to strike out a pair of batters.
 
The Lady Panthers will return to the diamond to take on Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. The first pitch is scheduled for 3 pm.
