LAKE CHARLES, La. – The Prairie View A&M University baseball team dropped both games in Saturday's doubleheader at McNeese, losing 12-9 and 7-2 Saturday at Joe Miller Ballpark.

The schedule was adjusted due to expected rains in southwest Louisiana, as the teams wrapped up the three-game series with Saturday's twin bill.

The Panthers return to action Tuesday in a 2 p.m. doubleheader at Arlington Baptist.

Game 1 - McNeese 12, Panthers 9: Nathan Carter went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI, while Corbin Jamison, Cody Den Beste, Carson Lee and Andrew Garcia each had two hits in the game one as PVAMU set season highs for runs and hits (14).
