The Prairie View A&M University baseball team lost the home finale to Grambling 14-1 Sunday afternoon at Tankersley Field.
 
Prior to the game, PVAMU baseball honored its senior players – infielders Kevin Macias, Josh Jefferson, and Anthony Fernandez, pitchers Edgar Sanchez, Charles Philpott, Phillip Gay, Cassity Land, and Jordan Foster, and outfielder Cody Den Beste.
 
The Panthers scored their lone run in the seventh inning. With one out, Jalyn Baker reached on an infield single. With two outs, Kaylor Lewis walked, before Nathan Carter singled to right field, scoring Baker.
 
The Panthers return to action Tuesday and Wednesday in 6:30 p.m. games at Baylor. There will be a live radio broadcast of both games on pvpanthers.com/sportsnetwork.
