WACO, Texas – The Prairie View A&M University baseball team lost game one of a two-game midweek series at Baylor 15-2 Tuesday at the Baylor Ballpark.
 
The Panthers (18-34) scored both runs in the eighth. Tyler Gordon reached on a fielder's choice and advanced to second on a throwing error. Xavier Jefferson doubled to center field and advanced to third on an error, scoring Gordon. Avery Williams then singled to right field, scoring Jefferson, who had two of the Panthers' six hits.
