PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The Prairie View A&M soccer team hosted Texas A&M Corpus Christi in its f.inal nonconference match up on Sunday falling 3-0.

With the weather showing only 84 degrees the index was 104, both teams still played enthusiastically, but to a minimal with both teams making several substitutions as the game progressed.

The Lady Panthers Alessandra Rivera had the lone shot on goal for PVAMU.  Clarissa Ledesma had six saves, while teammate Alexis Espino with two.

Prairie View will open Southwestern play on Sept. 22, 2017 when they travel to Jackson, Miss. to face the Lady Tigers of JSU.
