JACKSON, Miss. – The Prairie View A&M men's basketball team lost at Jackson State 79-71 at the Williams Athletics and Assembly Center.
J.D. Wallace posted a career-high 17 points and 12 rebounds in recording his second straight double double.
Gary Blackston had 16 points off the bench with seven rebounds, and
Dennis Jones scored 15 with three rebounds and six assists.
The Panthers (5-14, 2-3) never led in the contest. PVAMU trailed by as many as 11 in the second half and cut trailing score to four late in the game but could get no closer.
