LAFAYETTE, La. – The Prairie View A&M men's basketball team scored a season high in points in a 122-90 loss at Louisiana.
Taishaun Johnson scored a season high 28 points off the bench to lead three Panthers in double figures.
Gary Blackston recorded his second career double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds.
Antione Lister came off the bench with a season-high 13 points.
The Panthers shot 42 percent from the field (29-68), including eight three-pointers, and were 24-of-29 from free throw line.
Louisiana was on a torrid shooting pace all night, shooting 65 percent from the field, making 14 three-pointers, and was 22-25 from the free-throw line.
Prairie View A&M returns to action next Thursday in a 9 p.m. CT game at Seattle.
