The Panthers will play their 12th straight road game and the third game in the Carolinas this season (Nov. 19 at UNC Greensboro, Nov. 21 at East Carolina.) The Panthers are coming off a 102-64 loss at Seattle last Thursday.
Gary Blackston led the Panthers with 22 points and seven rebounds, and
Antione Lister came off the bench to post his second straight career high in scoring with 16 points along with four rebounds.

Blackston is second in the SWAC in points per game (16.9), fourth in field goal percentage (41.1%), fifth in steals per game (1.5), and sixth in rebounds per game (6.6).
Devonte Patterson ranks 12
th in the league in scoring (12.9), is fifth in both field goal percentage (43.4%) and free throw percentage (78.6), and is tied for sixth in steals per game (1.4).

After a 2-3 start, Winthrop (7-4) has won three straight and five of its last six games. The Eagles lead the Big South Conference in scoring (91.8 ppg), free throw percentage (77.6%), and assists (18.3 apg), and are second in field goal percentage (47.9 %) and rebounds (41.4 rpg). Winthrop has four players averaging in double figures, led by Nych Smith (16.6 ppg/6th BS). Josh Ferguson (13.5), Adam Pickett (11.1), and Kyle Zunic (10.5) round out the quartet.
