BOX SCORE PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas - In the second week of conference play the Prairie View A&M soccer team fell to Southern 1-0 at the PVAMU Soccer Complex.
"We had missed opportunities and just didn't capitalize on them tonight," said head PVAMU soccer coach
Sonia Curvelo. "We weren't hungry enough for it. It was a disappointing loss. We obviously dominated the game with shots and we had enough to win this game."
The Lady Panthers outshot the Jaguars 20-7. There were three players that had four shots a piece.
Jojo Bernal,
Alexis Mack and
Kalia Brown led the charge on shots.
Blair Lane posted three shots.
Goalkeeper Quinn Joshiah had three saves in the match.
The Lady Panthers will return to action when they host Jackson State on Senior Day Sunday, Sept. 30 for a 1 p.m. kick.
