PRAIRIE VIEW - Prairie View A&M women's basketball returns to action Wednesday against No. 6 Texas A&M at Reed Arena. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. and can be seen on SEC Network plus.
The Panthers (2-4) most recently snapped a four-game slide in an impressive fashion, handling Wiley College 75-42 on Nov. 23.
Senior Ke'Asia Williams led the charge in that game with 13 points and nine board. Freshman Kennedi Heard set career-bests in points (12) and rebounds (seven), while fellow freshman Kennedy Paul scored a career-high 10 points.
Senior Bernesha Peters leads the team in scoring at 11.2 points per game. Grad transfer Tatyana Perez is second on the team in scoring at 10 points per night while shooting 40 percent from beyond the arc and leading the Panthers in assists (2.5).
The Panthers are 0-9 all time against the Aggies, the most recent contest a 70-57 setback on Dec. 21, 2018 where the Panthers led going into the fourth quarter before being outscored 22-4 in the final frame.

- Texas A&M (4-0) has outscored its opposition by an average of 18.8 points per game. This is the first time since the 2016-17 season that the Aggies have begun the season with four or more wins.
