PRAIRIE VIEW - The honors continue to roll in for Prairie View A&M football.
 
On the heels of having seven players garner all-conference honors, the Panthers have received their first All-America accolade of awards season, as senior tight end Jordan Jones earned a Honorable Mention selection to the 2019 BOXTOROW All-American team.
 
The Frisco, Texas native made 28 grabs for 497 yards, the latter figure second-most among all Panther receiving targets. Jones hauled in four touchdown catches and was recently named First Team All-SWAC, his second all-league honor of his career.
 
Jones posted five games with 50 yards or more receiving and was an explosive vertical threat for one of the nation's top offenses, as evidenced by his stellar 17.8 yards per catch average.
 
This is the second-straight year the Panthers have had a tight end earn BOXTOROW All-America honors, as former Panther standout Zarrian Holcombe received first-team consideration last season.
