PRAIRIE VIEW - Prairie View A&M men's basketball hits the road for its penultimate non-conference road game as the Panthers touch down in Boulder, Colo. to face Colorado Thursday evening. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. CST (6:30 p.m. local time) in the CU Events Center.

Prairie View A&M (3-7) has stumbled in a pair of hotly-contested games and will look to regroup against a tough Buffalo squad that has been up and down as of late following a torrid start to open the season.

The Panthers seniors have led the charge on the offensive end so far this season. Forward Devonte Patterson has been strong as the Panthers have eased him back into the flow of things. Patterson leads the team in scoring at 14.0 points per game and is one of four Panthers averaging at least 11 points a night.

Senior Gerard Andrus is second on the team at 13.6 points per game along with 5.3 boards per night, shooting 54.1 percent from the floor. Senior Darius Williams comes into the game with an 11.6 nightly scoring clip and is averaging 19.0 points per game over his last four outings, including a pair of 25-plus-point efforts over the last two contests.

Senior Chancellor Ellis is knocking down 44.6 percent from beyond the arc, accounting for 11.3 points a night.

Prairie View A&M is narrowly besting their opponents 35-34.6 when it comes to rebounds per game. This will be the first meeting between the teams since 2008.

Scouting the Competition:
- Colorado (8-2) has dropped two of its last three games with one of those losses coming to No.1 Kansas. Prior to their current stretch, the Buffaloes had won seven straight contests to open the season and were ranked as high as No. 20 in polls.

- Swingman Tyler Bey is leading Colorado in nightly scoring (12.6) and rebounding (10.4). Bey is one of three Buffaloes averaging double-figures in scoring, with McKinley Wright IV (11.3) and D'Shawn Schwartz (10.1) the others.

- The Buffaloes are ranked 24th nationally in scoring defense, limiting opponents to 59.3 points per game.
