HOUSTON - The 19th annual Prairie View A&M - Texas Southern Labor Day Classic Luncheon is set for noon Wednesday, August 28 at the Power Center, South Post Oak at South Main.

PVAMU head football coach Eric Dooley and Interim Director of Athletics Alicia Pete will speak at the event, along with Texas Southern head football coach Clarence McKinney and Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Director Kevin Granger.
 
The guest speaker of this event will be Dr. Charles McClelland, who is the Commissioner of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. McClelland is a Prairie View A&M graduate and has been the athletic director at both institutions.  He is also a member of the Touchdown Club Board of Directors and is a former president.

Tickets are $25 each. Tables are 10 seats each. Tables cost $250 (regular table) or $500 (maroon or purple sponsors).
