PRAIRIE VIEW – Wednesday evening's contest between the Prairie View A&M women's basketball team and Talladega College has been cancelled.

The Nov. 25 game set to begin at 5:30 p.m. was to serve as the season and home opener for the Panthers. The contest would have been the first-ever meeting between the teams.

With the announcement, the Nov. 28 contest versus Philander Smith is now set as the official start of the women's basketball season on The Hill.

Prairie View A&M's contest versus Philander Smith is set to tipoff at 3 p.m. from the Baby Dome. Links to live stats, radio and broadcast will be provided prior to game time.
