PRAIRIE VIEW – The Prairie View A&M men's basketball team (1-3) heads to Fort Worth to take on TCU Wednesday evening for a non-conference matchup inside Schollmaier Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

> The Panthers dropped a 90-62 contest at Washington State Dec. 21. The game marked the season debut of
Cam Mack, who impressed with a double-double.
Damari Parris led all PVAMU players with 15 points. Mack scored 14 points and dished out 10 assists along with three steals and a block.
Jawaun Daniels scored 11 points.
Jerroda Briscoe chipped in eight points and swatted three shots.
Storylines to Watch:
> Prairie View A&M is 0-6 all-time versus the Horned Frogs, but neither team has played one another since their current respective head coaches took the reins of their programs. In the teams' last meeting in Dec. 2015, TCU won 73-55.
> Among qualified players, PVAMU has a pair of double-digit scorers in Jeremiah Gambrell – who averages 10.5 points -- and
Jawaun Daniels (10.3 points per game).
> PVAMU has won each of its past four non-conference finales prior to conference play.
Scouting the Opponent:
> TCU has opened the season 7-2 and is currently riding a three-game winning streak.
> Mike Miles and junior guard RJ Nembhard forms one of the top backcourts the Panthers will see this season. Nembhard leads TCU in nightly scoring at 18.4 points and is dishing out 4.9 assists per game while shooting at 48.6 percent from the field. Miles is second in shooting at 52.1 percent and second on the team in scoring at 14.9 points a game, a mark that ranks him 10
th nationally among freshmen.
> TCU is 5-1 this season in games where they have outrebounded the opponent.
