WASHINGTON, D.C. – Ranked No. 6 Michigan tops Panthers in 77-49 during the Coaches vs. Racism game on Saturday evening at the D.C. Entertainment and Sports Arena,
PVAMU drops to 0-3 on the season and the Wolverines moves to 2-0 overall.
How it Happened:
The Panthers had a slow start as they just could not find the rhythm down 42-23 in the first half. Finding a little feet PVAMU began to put together the pieces but it was enough in the 77-49 decision in favor of the Wolverines.
William Douglas led all PV scorers with 15 points going 4-14 including 1-of-3 from the long distance stripe and was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free stipe line. PVAMU had a total of 36 points from off-the bench.
Jeremiah Gambrell had a season high of 11 points, while Juwaun Daniels had a season low of seven points.
Up Next:
The Panthers will continue on the road playing Oklahoma State (Nov. 14) at 2 p.m., finally returning to Texas to face Texas Tech (Nov. 15) for a 7 p.m. contest, before heading to face GCU at Grand Canyon (Nov. 17) for an 8 p.m. CT tip.
