BOISE, IDAHO – Senior
D'Rell Roberts hot shot shooting, scoring a team high of 21 points wasn't enough in the 97-60 loss to the Boise State Broncos inside ExtraMile Arena Friday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Both teams were neck and neck, knotted at 19 in the first half, until the Broncos took a strong surge pushing their lead up to 13 with 1:27 left prior to the intermission (36-23).
The Panthers came out cold the second half as Boise State continued its surge pushing their lead to 30 with 12:12 left in the game. With a 42 point lead (94-52) PVAMU tried their best to chip away as many points as they good as the Broncos went on to take the 97-60 win.
11 players for the Panthers scored while there was only eight for Boise State.
Graduate student
Markedric Bell chipped in eight points for the Panthers going 4-for-seven. He also grabbed five rebounds, had two blocks and one steal in the contest.
PVAMU (0-9, 0-0 SWAC) returns to action on December 15, when they host North America University at 6 p.m. for their first home contest in the William J. Nicks Building.
