PRAIRIE VIEW –  Prairie View A&M athletics has announced schedule changes affecting the women's volleyball, softball, men's and women's golf, women's bowling and men's basketball teams.  

The women's volleyball match versus Southern, initially set for Sunday, February 14 at 3 p.m., has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 18 at 6:30 p.m. The contest was moved in anticipation of inclement weather in the area set to arrive over the weekend that could create hazardous travel conditions.

The forecast has also affected the women's bowling team's participation in the Louisiana Tech-hosted Bulldog Classic, as the Lady Panthers will not play in the weekend tournament.

The men's basketball team will play at Texas Southern Thursday evening as well, with tip-off set for 7 p.m. The contest was initially scheduled for February 6 but was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols.

PVAMU softball's weekend games at Incarnate Word have been canceled due to the inclement weather threat in the area. At this time, there are no plans to reschedule the games.

The men's and women's golf team will not play in the SWAC Invitational, initially set to tee off Sunday in Birmingham, Ala. due to freezing temperatures in the area.
