PRAIRIE VIEW – The Prairie View A&M volleyball team (6-2, 5-1 SWAC) returns to action for a Southwestern Athletic Conference match-up versus Texas Southern (0-3, 0-3) Monday evening.

- PVAMU is 2-1 in their past three matches versus the Lady Tigers but has not beaten TSU in Houston since 2017.
- Victoria Pearson leads the Lady Panthers with 50 kills and is hitting at an impressive .273 on the season. Malia Viernes is off to a stellar freshman season with 44 kills, 38 digs and seven block assists, and senior Tamaira Armstrong (38 kills) has flashed as well. Miriam Cardoner and Jakarta Hope have combined for 175 assists, 94 digs and 11 service aces.
- Last time out, the Lady Panthers swept Southern to improve to 5-1 in SWAC play.
Scouting the Lady Tigers:
- Danielle Lilley leads Texas Southern with 22 kills, and Indyah Rideaux is coming off a strong effort versus Southern where she put away 11 kills.
- Alyssa Chudian and Aeris Ramsey have dished out 27 assists each, and Ramsey has factored in defensively with 30 digs on the season.
