- Alyssa Garcia and Ryleigh Love are hitting .375 to this point in the season, and Jazlyn Perry leads the team with a .600 batting average in spot duty.

- Mya Hall leads the team with five strikeouts through two appearances. Hailey Salinas leads the team with a 2.62 ERA.

Scouting Tarleton State:
- Since defeated Prairie View A&M a couple weeks ago, Tarleton State has struggled thanks to tough contests against the likes of Baylor and Louisiana Tech. The Texans will enter Wednesday on a five-game losing streak.

- Katy Schaefer is off to a blistering start, hitting .433 with 22 hits, four doubles a pair of home runs and 12 RBI. Georgia Capell is the big bat of the lineup with a team-high four home runs along with 11 RBI and nine runs scored.

- Julia Wernet and Tristian Bridges are expected to get the call in the circle as the team's leaders in innings worked and appearances.
