PRAIRIE VIEW – The Prairie View A&M football team saw three defensive standouts garner all-conference honors as the Southwestern Athletic Conference revealed its Spring 2021 Football Postseason Awards as voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.

Linebacker Storey Jackson earned First Team All-SWAC honors, while defensive lineman Jason Dumas and defensive back Jaylen Harris garnered Second Team All-SWAC accolades.

Jackson was a sideline-to-sideline force and is the nation's current leader in tackles per game at 16.7. As one of 18 finalists for the Buck Buchanan Award following a standout senior season, Jackson also ranked second nationally in tackles for loss per game at 2.8. In all, the 6'3, 225-pounder made 50 total stops in the Panthers' three games with 8.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and an interception.

A two-time All-SWAC honoree, Dumas ranked third nationally in tackles for loss per game at 2.5. In all, the disruptive lineman made 20 total takedowns – 7.5 behind the line of scrimmage – and 3.0 sacks on the season.

Though rarely challenged through the season, Harris continued to perform as arguably the league's top pure cover man. He made 10 stops on the season with a pair of pass breakups and one interception. This is the second year in a row that Harris has earned All-SWAC distinction.
